Smart Credit & Smart Energy Initiative is a Kissimmee-based community education initiative that helps families, homeowners, entrepreneurs and small businesses make clearer decisions about their money, their credit and their energy. Founded in 2026 by Rebeca González, a public accountant, tax specialist, certified credit consultant and certified solar PV professional, the initiative serves Central Florida's Spanish-speaking community through workshops, practical guides and local partnerships with churches, nonprofits and community organizations. Its programs cover budgeting, responsible credit, energy efficiency and solar, including what homeowners should understand about costs, contracts and their rights as consumers before going solar.
