2025 FlaSEIA Rising Star Awards

This awards program is designed to recognize solar and storage industry professionals under the age of 40 who have made major contributions in the Florida solar and storage industry.

Winners will be recognized at the 2025 Florida Solar & Storage Summit being held May 12-14 in Tampa, Florida at the Tampa Convention Center.

NOMINATION GUIDELINES

  • Nominee must be between ages of 18 and 39 as of May 14, 2025.
  • Nominee may live anywhere in the United States.
  • Nominee must be from a FlaSEIA member company.
  • Self-nominations are encouraged. 

ELIGIBILITY

Current members of the Florida Solar Energy Industries Association (FlaSEIA) are eligible to receive a FlaSEIA Rising Star Award. Submissions are accepted until March 15, 2025. By submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to the rules of the contest and states that he or she is 18 years or older.


TIPS FOR SUBMISSION 

  • Provide specific examples: Illustrate how the nominee meets the award criteria with detailed examples. Highlight specific projects, initiatives, or leadership roles that showcase their contributions. 
  • Include a Letter of Recommendation: A letter from the nominator or someone directly impacted by the nominee can provide a powerful testament to the nominee's impact.

  • Major Contributions: Detailed descriptions of specific projects or initiatives they have led or significantly contributed to.
  • Innovation: Examples of innovative solutions or technologies they have developed or implemented within the solar and storage industry.  
  • Impact: Data or metrics that demonstrate the impact of their work.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Instances where they have shown exceptional leadership, mentored others, or effectively collaborated with team members.
